Enterprise Technology Leadership Journal — Fall 2025
Volume 2, Issue 2
I love that the outputs generated by the IT Revolution site are not opinion papers based on feelings. They are grounded in reality with metrics, measurables, and actionable content. This is not marketing material built to look shiny on a slide, or a judgement on the state of technology based on a few opinionated writers. All of the content I've encountered is real, valuable, and verifiable. The piece from the ETLJ Fall 2025 paper that I enjoyed most was "A Nose for Elevating New Technology Leaders". The visual map for key leadership characteristics to predictive indicators is incredible.
The Enterprise Technology Leadership Journal Fall 2025 presents ten comprehensive papers addressing the most pressing challenges facing technology leaders in an AI-driven world. This collection emerges from the 2025 Enterprise Technology Leadership Forum, where leaders from Fortune 500 companies shared real-world experiences navigating AI transformation, scaling delivery systems, and building resilient organizations. Each paper provides actionable frameworks grounded in practical implementation experience across diverse industries.
This issue covers critical topics including identifying and developing technology leadership talent in an AI-augmented world, implementing software acquisition pathways that avoid bureaucratic sabotage, navigating strategic trade-offs between speed, cost, and safety, adapting career strategies for the evolving developer job market, guiding organizational transformation through AI adoption, managing human-AI interactions in safety-critical systems, learning from enterprise-scale generative AI implementations, handling the operational challenges of AI-assisted development, reimagining quality assurance for the age of rapid code generation, and optimizing the software delivery pipeline from pull request to production.
